  • What if my products arrived warm?

    First, don’t worry! If your Perfect Bar products arrived warm, they are still completely safe to eat. Perfect Bars are only meant to be refrigerated to help maintain the perfect taste and texture. Simply refrigerate as soon as possible, until ready you're to enjoy.

  • How many superfoods are in each perfect bar product?

    Perfect Bar's formula was developed over 20 years ago by our founders, and we continue to use their original combination of fruits and vegetables superfood powders.

    Fresh vegetables and fruits are a wonderful source of fiber and nutrients. You might not taste it, but we have 20+ different superfoods such as vegetables, fruits and oils in our products.

    Because our formulas are proprietary, we are unable to disclose exactly how much of each ingredient is in our foods.

  • How many come in a box?

    There are 8 Perfect Bars and Refrigerated Peanut Butter Cups, 16 Snack Size bars, and 12 Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Snack Size bars per box.

  • What does “good for 1 week on-the-go” mean?

    This means that Perfect Bars--our full-size, snack size bars, and Layers-- stay fresh for 1 week outside the fridge. After a week, they may start to dry out as the oils from the nut butter will separate.  

  • How long do Refrigerated Peanut Butter Cups & Chocolate Covered Snack Size bars last outside of the fridge?

    These products are okay to be out of the fridge for two days. However, we suggest you treat them like a chocolate bar and we all know that chocolate can melt!   

  • Do they contain palm oil?

    No way! Like all Perfect Bar products, our Refrigerated Peanut Butter Cups and Chocolate Covered Snack Size bars do not contain palm oil. 

  • What is the eating occasion?

    Our Refrigerated Peanut Butter Cups Chocolate Covered Snack Size bars are a sweet indulgence that you can feel good about! Each serving contains 5-7 grams of protein, and 20+ different superfoods such as vegetables, fruits and oils.

  • What is the eating occasion for Perfect Bar Snack Size Bars?

    Our original family protein bar recipe, now snack-size! Made with freshly-ground peanut butter, organic honey and 20+ superfoods, Perfect Bar® Snack Size is the solution to your snacking needs.   • What is the difference between full-size Perfect Bar and Snack Size?

    Snack Size Perfect Bar is about a third the size of our full-size Perfect Bar. Both are made with our original family protein bar recipe, using freshly-ground peanut butter, organic honey and 20+ superfoods. Our Snack Size Perfect Bar is the perfect solution for any snack needs!

  • What makes Perfect Bar Layers different from the original Perfect Bar line?

    Perfect Bar Layers, a line of layered crispy nut butter bars! We blended peanut and cashew butters with quinoa crisp and organic honey to create our base, then added a layer of dark chocolate spread or 100% fruit spread, and sprinkled with a toasted honey oat topping.  As with our original Perfect Bar, our new Perfect Bar Layers is packed with whole food protein, our 20+ superfoods blend, is gluten-free, and Non-GMO Project Verified. 

  • What nut butter is used in Perfect Bar Layers?

    Perfect Bar Layers are made with a base layer of blended peanut and cashew butter. To find a full list of each flavor's ingredients, nutrition facts, and allergens, please visit the products tab on our website. Click on either bar flavor, then scroll down to the “Ingredients and Nutrition Facts” listed under each the product description.  

  • How long are Layers okay out for the fridge for?

    As with our full size and Snack Size Perfect Bars, Layers stay fresh out of the refrigerator for up to one week. Since we don’t use chemical preservatives or overly-processed ingredients, refrigeration is required to maintain the optimal freshness, consistency and flavor of our bars.

  • What is the top crispy layer made of?

    The top toasted honey oat layer is made of rolled gluten-free oats, honey, coconut oil, and maple & tapioca syrup, mixed together to add the perfect crispy texture to our multilayered bars. 

  • What fruit is in the 100% real fruit purée spread?

    The middle layer in our Berry Layers bar is made of apple puree concentrate, apple juice concentrate, strawberry puree, blueberry puree, and raspberry puree, mixed together to create the delicious 100% real fruit spread. 

  • What is the Dark Chocolate Spread made of?

    The middle Dark Chocolate Spread layer is made of organic fair trade dark chocolate, date paste, cocoa, peanut butter and peanut flour, vanilla extract and sea salt. The ingredients are mixed together to create the delicious chocolate layer.

Refrigeration

  • How long do your products last out of the fridge?

    Please see "Product Specific Questions" to determine how long your Perfect Bar product can be left out of the fridge. However, please note, all Perfect Bar products are still safe to consume, even if they become warm. Refrigeration is only required to maintain the perfect taste, texture, and shape.  

  • How long do your products stay fresh?

    You’ll find our ‘best by’ date printed on each package, which is the most accurate reference, but all products stay fresh for several months when stored in the fridge.

  • Why are your products refrigerated?

    Since we don’t use chemical preservatives or overly-processed ingredients, refrigeration is required to maintain the optimal freshness, consistency, shape and flavor of our products.

Nutrition & Ingredients

  • Are perfect bars good for a keto (ketogenic) diet?

    The premise of the Keto diet is to consume high-fat, low-carb foods with adequate protein, forcing the body to burn fats, than carbohydrates. While the nuts, milk, egg and rice in Perfect Snacks contribute to a balanced fat and protein make up, we also add organic honey to help bind the bars together and make them taste delicious! Because of this, Perfect Bars are unsuitable for Keto dieters.

  • Are perfect bars good for the paleo diet?

    Many people who follow a strict paleo diet do not consume any dairy products. All of our products are made with non-fat dry milk Perfect Bars are unsuitable for paleo dieters.

  • Are perfect bars part of the whole30 diet?

    The Whole30 approach is to eat moderate amounts of protein, lots of veggies, some fruit and natural fats. Strictly forbidden are dairy and any sugar source – including honey. Because most of our products are made with organic non-fat dry milk and organic honey, this makes them unsuitable for Whole 30 dieters.

  • Are perfect bars low glycemic index?

    All Perfect Bar products have been tested to be low glycemic index. This means that they cause a lower and slower rise in blood sugar to keep you fuller, longer.

  • Are your ingredients pasteurized?

    Our products are cold-pressed, not cooked, however our ingredients are pasteurized.

    We use organic wildflower honey that has been pasteurized and filtered through a 150 micron or finer filter. Our organic, non-fat dry milk and organic whole egg powder are pasteurized as well. These proteins are heat treated under pressure, then moisture is removed via dryers to produce a stable powder. Pasteurization kills pathogens and drying lowers the water activity to prevent bacterial growth.

  • Are your products kosher?

    All of our products are Kosher, certified by Orthodox Union (OU). This means a rabbinic agency has verified that all of the product’s ingredients and derivatives, its production facility (including all tools and machinery) and actual production have no trace of non-Kosher substances. The symbol "OU" on our product wrappers is an indication of this certification.  

  • Are your products organic?

    We value the sourcing of organic ingredients and work hard to offer organic as much as possible. However, we also have to balance offering a product at a price that is fair for everyone. Be sure to look for the USDA Certified Organic logo to determine which Perfect Bar products are organic.

  • Do your products have refined sugar?

    There is a small amount of refined sugar coming from the chocolate chips themselves, found only in our chocolate-flavored varieties. Our fair trade chocolate chips are ethically sourced and align with our food values and mission.

    Our other non-chocolate flavors do not contain any refined sugar. The main source of sugar is from organic honey. We use it not only because it provides sweetness, but honey also acts as a natural preservative and helps hold the nut-butter together, as we do not use any chemical preservatives. Other sources of sugar in our bars vary by flavor but may include maple syrup, lactose coming from organic non-fat dry milk, added fruit and even peanuts themselves inherently contain some sugar.

  • I’m diabetic, are your products safe for me to eat?

    Everybody has different sensitivities to sugar and carbohydrates; whether our products fit your diet is a personal choice and we always recommend that you consult your physician or a registered dietitian.

    That being said, many people purchase Perfect Bar products because they fit into their healthy lifestyle. Our products contain ample protein, good fats and most are a good source of fiber, all of which work together to modulate our body’s glucose response. In fact, all of our products have tested low glycemic index, which means they cause a lower and slower rise in blood sugar to keep you fuller, longer.

  • What do you use as your sweetener?

    The main source of sugar in our products is organic honey. It provides sweetness and works to bind the nut-butter together. It also acts as a natural preservative, as we don’t use any chemical preservatives. Some products also use maple syrup as a sweetener. Additionally, our chocolate varieties contain fair trade chocolate chips that provide a small amount of sweetness.

Shipping & Delivery

  • Do you ship outside of the U.S.?

    We only ship to locations here in the U.S.

    Other than that, we are sold at various retail stores in Canada. Please use our store locator  and toggle to Canadian Products to find a location nearest you that carries our products!

  • How do you ship your products and what materials are used?

    We cold-ship our products using ice-packs and insulated packaging to ensure Perfect Bar products stay cool during the majority of the time in transit. Keep in mind, if you're ordering during the warmer months and your products arrive warm, they are still completely safe to consume; just place them back into the fridge to let them return to their normal consistency!

    Our ice-packs can be reused/repurposed for personal use or can be discarded of. The cardboard box, liner, and plant-based insulation are widely curbside recyclable.

  • My tracking number says delivered, but I don’t see my package.

    Can’t find your package? Please take a look at any notes your carrier may have made in your tracking history (i.e. Left at Front Door). If you're still unable to locate the package, please contact UPS (1-800-742-5877) or FedEx (1-800-463-3339), depending on who your carrier is. If your shipping address is in an apartment complex or office building, we’d recommend checking in with your neighbors, front desk attendant, property manager, and/or mail room.

    Often times packages will turn up 24-48 hours after being reported missing, so if after 48 hours your package still hasn’t turned up, please reach out to us.

  • The shipping address on my order is incorrect! How do I fix this?

    After you successfully place an order on our website, you’ll receive an order confirmation email from us. Please verify that your shipping address is listed correctly.

    If you find that your address is incorrect, and your order is still open in our system, we would be more than happy to update the shipping address on your order.

    If your order has shipped, we are unable to update the shipping address, due to the challenges of rerouting a package mid-transit.

  • What I received is not what I ordered...

    We’re so sorry! If there’s an issue with your order, please reach out to us via our contact form to let us know what the problem is, and we’d be happy to take care of it immediately.

  • What if my products arrived warm?

    First, don’t worry! If your perfect bar products arrived warm, they are still completely safe to eat. Perfect bars are only meant to be refrigerated to help maintain the perfect taste and texture. Simply refrigerate as soon as possible, until ready you're to enjoy.

  • When will my order arrive?

    We know how excited you are to receive your Perfect Bar order and it brings us joy to deliver your favorites straight to your door! We want to ensure that your product arrives fresh and ready for it’s new home in your fridge, so we do follow a strict shipping schedule.

    It generally takes about 24-48 hours for an order to complete processing. Please note that we do not ship out orders Friday-Sunday to preserve product freshness, so if your order will not arrive by Saturday, it will be held to ship the following week. Additionally, orders placed during holidays, sales, or new product launches may experience a longer processing window.

    When your order has completed processing and is ready to ship, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a link to your tracking information. Please check your spam or junk inboxes for emails from us, as they may be sorted there accidentally by your email carrier. Packages are typically delivered within 1-4 days once shipped.

  • Where can I find your products near me?

    Please use our store locator to find locations nearest to you that carry our products. Once you input your zip code, click on each store to see a list of products they have in stock. If you are searching for a specific flavor or product, be sure to use our "Select Specific Products" filter to choose the item(s) you are looking for.

    Please note, our store locator is automatically updated every 4 weeks as it detects the bar-codes of Perfect Snacks as they are scanned through the register. Because of this, it may be beneficial to call prior to heading over, just to make sure the flavor or product you’re looking for is still in stock. The phone number for each store is shown online as well.

  • Can you postpone my order to ship at a later date?

    We are unable to hold or postpone orders to ship at a later date, we apologize for the inconvenience.

  • I placed an order with the wrong items. Can I change it?

    We are unable to swap items or edit orders. If you would like to cancel your order, and reorder the correct flavors, please reach out to us ASAP, as the cancellation window is very limited.

Subscription

  • How do I edit my subscription?

    When you sign up for a subscription with us, we’ll send you an account activation email. Set up a password using this email, and then you can login using your new credentials. To log in, visit our website and click the My Account button next to the "My Cart" button. Once you’re in your account, click on "Manage Subscription".

    Here you’ll be able to easily add or swap products, skip an order, change the delivery date of your next order, update your subscription details (payment, delivery address) and/or cancel your subscription.

    If the website is not recognizing your email, that means you have not created a password yet. If you cannot find your original account activation email, reach out to our team via our contact page and we’ll re-send you the instructions.

  • How do I sign up for a subscription?

    To sign up for recurring orders with us, please choose the option ‘Subscribe & Save 10%’, rather than ‘One time purchase’ when placing your order. When you choose the 'Subscribe & Save 10%' option, a drop-down menu will appear, allowing you to choose your desired frequency; this frequency lets us know how often to ship your order.

  • What if I want to edit a subscription order that has already been processed?

    Unfortunately, we cannot edit orders once they have processed. If it's not too late, we may be able to cancel your order and update your subscription, then have a new order process the same week. To check if your order can be cancelled, please contact us at your earliest convenience.

    Keep in mind, we do send out a reminder email 5 days in advance to give you notice of your upcoming order, before it is processed. This would be the ideal time to make any changes to your upcoming order.

  • Why isn’t the log-in page recognizing my email?

    If the website is not recognizing your email, that means you have not created a password yet. If you cannot find your original account activation email, reach out to our team via our contact page and we’ll re-send you the instructions.

Route Package Protection

  • What is route and what does it offer?

    We are partnered with Route—a package protection and tracking solution—to give our customers the best possible delivery experience. Route offers a few options to improve the post-purchase experience.

    Route Protect:

    Route Protect is premium package protection for your online orders. When you add Route Protect at checkout, you can easily file issues for lost, stolen, or damaged packages in the unfortunate case that they arise.

  • What are route’s policies?

    Marked As Delivered but Cannot Locate Package (Stolen)

    Issues can be approved no earlier than 2 and no later than 30 days from when it was marked delivered. Orders over $100 USD require a police report.

    • Stuck In Transit (Lost)

    Issues can be approved no earlier than 3 days and no later than 30 days from the last update.

    • Damaged

    File issues for damaged items with photos of the package and item (required) no later than 30 days from when it was marked delivered.

  • What if my order is damaged? - route

    To protect your order against damage that occurred during shipping, add Route Protect (package protection) at checkout.

    When you add Route Protect at checkout, you can easily file an issue for a lost, stolen, or damaged package. When you file an issue, it will be reviewed for approval for a reorder or refund within 1-2 business days.

    If your order has defects or you suspect it was damaged during manufacturing, please reach out to us via our contact form and we will be happy to work with you to remedy the situation.

  • Route - what if my order never arrives or is stolen?

    To protect your order against loss or theft, add Route package protection at checkout.

    When you add Route Protect, you can easily file an issue for a lost, stolen, or damaged package. When you file an issue, it will be reviewed for approval for a reorder or refund within 1-2 business days.

  • How do I file a shipping issue for my lost, stolen or damaged order?

    If you insured your order with Route Protect at checkout, you will receive a confirmation email from Route with a link to file a shipping issue.

  • Do you have a return policy?

    For online orders, we do not accept returns or exchanges, due to food safety concerns.

    However, if your product was not in optimal condition or you believe there’s a quality concern, please fill out our contact form and a team member from our Customer Support team will be in touch.
